GhostPen

Last night after picking Aiden up from work, we went to the bar, (he, our friend, Tim, and I), and after much deliberation on what we wanted to eat and/or drink, I finally decided to get a burger (trust me, it gets more interesting than that). I asked for it pretty plain, because I’d wanted to inspect their sauce rack in case they had something that tickled my fancy. Lo and behold – they did. I got my burger, put some of their ghost pepper sauce on it, and a little mustard (‘cuz for some weird reason, I can’t have a burger without it…unless it’s a whopper jr, but that doesn’t really count…).
At first, I only put a couple drops on, just in case. I took a couple bites, it wasn’t hot enough, and then I treated it more like ketchup. Tim, at this point, was singing a 90’s song on their karaoke machine, and pretty much killing it. By the time he was done, Aiden and I had tasted the burger and declared it a masterpiece of spice (we both like it hot to quite hot, indeed).
After we left the bar, Tim said something about being hungry, so I offered him some of the burger that was still pleasantly burning my mouth and/or insides (I don’t’ remember really, I was just glad to not be cold). We both warned him how hot it was by reminding him that it’s the same sauce we searched all over the state fair for so I could have my ghost pepper wings (which were delicious), you can see our friend in that post, he’s the one with the ice cream between us, well, he’s in the picture, at any rate.
So, after much reluctance, because for some reason he thought I’d be mad if he ate my burger, he took a bite. He was pretty much insta-down. We didn’t really have anything for him to drink, so he was in a miserable state until we got home. He kept asking why I made the burger that hot, and I again reminded him that we spend the entirety of the state fair day trying to find those wings because a of all) I love hot shit, and b of all) hot shit is delicious.
Tim was out until we got home, where I jokingly offered him more of the burger, which he wanted nothing to do with.
Aiden brought cashews home, (this is bad because cherries and cashews are nearly tied for delicousness to me), so Tim and I proceeded to eat them, when I remembered that I do have a very mild nut allergy, but didn’t care, so Tim tried to take them away from me, and I ran into my room with them. Then I came out, put them on the counter, and chased him around the house with the burger.

Fun times.
We watched him play Kingdom Hearts 2 for a bit (he beat 1 last week), and then we all trooped off to bed.
I woke up this morning, heard Gangnam Style on the radio (Yes, I STILL like the song), and bursted into the bathroom to do what I know of the dance. Also fun times.
I hope to have a wonderful weekend, and I hope you lot do, too. Pretty soon, I’ll be a regular with the instagram postings, so if you want, check me out there. I’m Olive8o until I can get them to fix that chizz, ‘cuz no one is actually using my gamertag…

re-building bridges

Building bridges, well, rebuilding, really.

Recently, I’ve been meaning to blog about how I’ve been way too good at severing tie, because it’s just something that comes easily to me.

I have a very low tolerance for bullchizz, so when there’s too much of that, or drama in my life, I cut the sources.
But I’ve realized that burning bridges isn’t the way to go.
I recently just re-friended a formerly good friend, she was one of my besties, at one time, but because of really dumb issues, we cut the ties we had (the issues were pretty dumb in retrospect), but I’m actually glad that we’re friends again – did I mention that we share the same birthday? Well, I’m a year older, but it was fun that one time we both went to the movies with a group of friends to celebrate our birthday, or the other time where our input bro well, my input bro) took us out for pho, I still remember that time like it was yesterday, and I hope he reads this (yup, shoutouts to you, Oppa!) I wish we could hang out together again sometime.
I must admit, one of the first things I did was look at her fb pics once we re-friended each other, her baby’s just too adorbz.

And who knows, maybe she can be one of my ld fit buddies (long distance for u lot who don’t know),

Which brings me to a new point, I want a fit buddy, especially for next semester, I’ve blogged about it before, so you can all tell how excited I am for next semester.

(I’m typing with my screen down right now ‘cuz, well, I’m trying to be discrete.)

I just did another presentation, and I have less than . 6 hrs of sleep, (you remember the set-up shift  I told you guys about in my last post? Well, it was a 4-midnight, we left a little early, but I missed my last bus by an hour still, so I go very little sleep last night, no complaints, though, ‘cuz it was really fun. ) I like work, and the more hours I get, the better, I’m a rent payer, after all, and I’m saving up for a car.
Trying to type quietly is very hard for me, my mom used to hate it, I’d wake up from sleeping with a great idea, in high school, hop back on my computer, and half an hour later, I’d hear “go back to sleep!”). My mum has supersonic hearing, I swear, she’d be on the second floor, and I lived in the basement room my stepdad made for me in that house. I miss it! That room was B.A, I swear!
But back to the re-building of bridges. I’m trying to be a bit less quick to cut ties off, because really, minor infractions, or even, sometimes, major ones, aren’t worth it in the end. I won’t say I miss everyone who I’ve cut out of my life completely, because there are those who I can’t see any reason to reacquaint myself with, but for those who I might have just had a misunderstanding or two with, sure.
Friendship is a two-way street, and I used to cut people off for giving too little when I feel like I’ve given more than my share, I’m gonna try not doing that (at least, not as often), and see if it helps in the long run. I hope it does.

The fair was so much fun!!!!

You have no idea! I got to meet up with most of my guys, and do most of the things I wanted to do. I even got to do a couple of extra things that I didn't really intend to, either. It was pretty fun. I got this snake and elephant right before the fair closed. They are so cute!

I attempted to do something with my nails (on the bus, no less.) I'm sure you can't tell that it's blue/purple each other nail, but that's what i did. And I spiraled my piggy tails.

Here's my outfit of the day, don't mind the badge, but I wore a skirt and my favorite longer shirt.

The guys next to each other in red and black shirts are two of my buds, they went on the big slide together.

I was just trying to track them on my cam. Yay for action shot mode!

They really enjoyed it. If I didn't have a skirt and had remembered the slide was there, I'd have gone, too!

The Unit: G, Timmy, my boyfriend, me, and Rick. We were missing B.

Ghost wings! Hot!

They no longer sell the sauce. :'(

Alton's Ghost wings.

Timmy says my boyfriend and I took it like G's. (We forgot he's sensitive to spice, so I bought ice cream after. Sorry Tim!)

See, 'Twas no problem!

A strawberry cone and Mint bonbon Ice cream. So refreshing.

More later, class is about to start!
