High School Tag

Hey, I just found out about this tag, so here it goes, guys. A Tag about my high school experiences.

9th Grade:
This was my first time ever trying homeschool. I was really shy previously, and I lived in Georgia. I didn't fit in with my southern peers, since I didn't act all typically southern - as I wasn't...
I liked 9th grade fine enough, ran into a few technical bugs, but that's to be expected when you have a somewhat nomadic family and you move mid-semester...I spent a lot of time at the library, and the librarians were really nice. They gave me tickets to the Sneak Peek of Ella Enchanted - a book I liked in 4th grade, I'm old...

10th grade: we really didn't move that far (a few blocks, but still outside our old neighborhood). And the u-turn I  moved in to (our street was shaped like a giant downhill u-turn.), I made some alternative friends (it gets thrown around a lot, but I'll explain later, if I need to), and we all hung out together. I also went to school with my uncle (who is only half a year older than me, nevermind how it happened, 'cuz Idk.), who just for ease, we called my brother, since we have the same last name (duh), and were so close in age. This is also where i got my first stalker. He was really tall, so he could see me through the massive crowd of people (this was the largest school I'd ever gone to). I thought nothing of it the first time he walked me to my homeroom, but I told him I wasn't interested in future escorts, when he offered. I ended up needing a school restraining order from this individual. I was safe until I headed to the busses, but he got the message, somewhat, and started after another girl who happened to take my bus.

11th grade: I went to a business school back in my home state for the first half of the semester (remember, nomadic family. My stepdad got a job up here) in the old science museum. I went one day to check it out, liked it, and started the next day. I made friends almost instantly, and had some nice experiences. I joined the Drama Club headed by our English Teacher, albeit by peer pressure: and got my first lead role in a play, and got to perform with them a few more times before I ended up at a "leadership academy" (read: military school). I wasn't remotely a bad student, I just got a couple less than stellar grades (literally just a couple), and my parents pulled me from the school. So there I was, suddenly in uniform, doing exercises after school, months were all a blur, I got chased with a clip board, and I think the girl wanted to try beating me to death, but I'm still not sure why, and after a bad blizzard: I switched schools.

I had the choice of going back to the business school, or going to the Performing Arts school. YOu can guess which one I chose. I wasn't an outcast at this school, but during my first week, some kid comes up to me, says he has to talk to me, and drags me out of the computer lab (I'm not sure I even finished what I was doing, but it was probably just updating my livejournal or someshizz.), then he drags me down six flights of stairs (he had a really good grip, ok?) and tried to kiss me by the vending machines. a of all) I didn't even know dude's name, b of all), it was very awkward, so I left, he tried to make me stay again, and upon returning to my friends, I learned that he was basically the school tramp. He was after any she-thing with legs.

12th grade: still at the performing arts school, and enjoying it, hanging with the same friends, my parents were mad when we didn't have a "senior skip day", aparently that's a big deal. My step dad gave me permission to skip, so a friend and I set a day to go watch the new Pirates of the Carribean movie that came out that year (yes, we even dressed up. We went to a performing arts school, what do you expect?), our other friends didn't join, but they had their own skip day later. We ate like Kings that day, 'cuz she got too happy in the kitchen.

Then, I got a stalker. Somehwere during the semester, I was having self-study to practice guitar. I always hid in a corner room, and never really told anyone, so my surprise when, for lack of another word, the school tramp shows up (repeatedly), to try putting moves on me. I wasn't going for it. After having enough, I told my teacher about it, hid in another room where one of my friends was playing piano pretty loudly, and didn't have too much more stalker-boy trouble. Except that he showed up at my senior party uninvited.

Aside from dumb chizz like stalkers and arguments with friends, high school was pretty fun.

Since it's a tag if you read it you should do it. Any comments welcome. ^_^

Ooh, free day no school

woot woot!

Listen, having mentioned school, I know some of you go to school, or work...or...something, where you may be required to look "presentable". I also know that 99% of you (currently) are women, and perhaps 50% of you feel "unpresentable" if you are not wearing some kind of makeup. I'm gonna walk you lot through my day when I'm in a rush ('cuz I see these youtube videos and, yeah.)

Normally, I'm just in a rush for school or whatever, because I enjoy every portion of my beauty sleep that I can get, lol. Does anyone even say that anymore?

anyway, first thing's first:
if you can, put clothes out the day before (until Friday, I would have my clothes all on the other bed, so they'd be scattered, but all in one place so I could sift through and pick what I want (they were folded, but after a week of "ooh this works, this doesn't", it's a hot ratchetty mess...well, maybe it's not ratchet, I'm still not sure what things to call ratchet...I'm not "up" on my slang...oh well.)

So, anyway, if you can't, right now, it's cold.
Leggings if you got them (I'm assuming you've already put your undies on.)
Thermals if you don't.
Warm undershirt,
warm sweater if you're feeling it, otherwise, a t-shirt will work.
now, run to the kitchen, and either warm up some oatmeal, ramen, eggs, pancakes if you have time, bacon if you've got it, grab your frozen fruit from the fridge (it's better frozen, trust me, except maybe bananas...)

now, the bathroom, style your hair. I typically do a bun or pigtails.
Brush those teeth, I can probably skip the basics, hope you ate first, though,

Now make sure your backpack is ready, throw the boots on, and put your makeup in your bag. No one will care that you're doing your makeup on the bus. Don't do it in the car, you'll get us all into an accident and kill us. Unless you're a passenger. In that case, carry on. "Carry on my wayward son, sha dinyding, dingidtty ding dong" I don't know the words for that song, and now ther's another one on, from the same era, but...different band? Idk...

And that's how I get ready.

sometimes.

Can't lie, Aiden's good at bundling. I honestly don't know what I'd do other than freeze some days. And he helps me get ready when he's had surprisingly little sleep (all of his own volition, of course).

Grand Opening of Forever 21 at the Mall of America

OOOOH my GOOOOOOOSH, guys! I've been excited about this since I got hired at my job (they told me about it during the interview, I've just been wanting to wait until it actually happens to post about it, so here I am.) My shift is the closing one, but as with any big day, no matter what your shift, it's still busy. Oh, Such a fun event! I really had no idea what the store would look like until my last shift, on Friday, because of all the setting up that was still going on. We have so many sections, guys! Something for everyone.

You're a man? (Namja Isseoyo?) We've got some stuffs for you (really, check our guys section out, it's super manly!"

You're a super girly girl? You'll find something everywhere (well, probably not the men's section, 'cuz...yeah...)

You love you some Hello Kitty? Well, it's infiltrated EVERYWHERE (except the men's section, I think, and really, "Everywhere" is kind of an exaggeration, I don't think there's any in the club, cocktail, accessories, or...denim? sections)

Kiddies? (srsly, mmm...you should probably not be reading my blog 'cuz I swear like a sailor... But ther's something for you, too.) A whole section (but boys will be redirected to the men's section, 'cuz, well..."Kids" is really "girls", but we dont' discriminate, your son wants that skirt? Let him have it. WE DO NO DISCRIMINATE. Besides, maybe he's rocking it better than that one girl in his class, Idk...let me stop right now...probably dug myself into a hole here...)

Plus section has a bit of everything (and a couple things I want).

You like Neon? And California? Maybe just Cali?

And eventually, even Coffee! (I seriously can't wait for that caffeine to get there. You have no idea how deprived I've been recently.

So, yeah, something for everyone. I've made a million outfits in my head already. Hee, I can start building an actual wardrobe now ^__________________________________________^

But I need some of that hello kitty stuff, 'cuz Hello Kitty is deee bombsauce.

Oh, I forgot to mention shoes, there's LOTS of shoes, ladies. (Sorry gents, I actually don't know much about your footwear, but your section looks pretty swank if I do say so myself, and Yes, I did just say "swank").

"You're just like a

gay boy"

once, I had a friend tell me this, and I was confused. Neverminding the fact that he was a gay boy himself, I was perplexed, 'cuz I'm a straight girl, and I guess we have some things in common, as gender orientations. Mutual like of men. Yeah.

So, anyway, I just got un-confused. I was watching this person on youtube (hopefully you're subscribed so you know who I'm talking about) "Miles Jai", and I noticed that there are a lot of things I do that he and a lot of my gay guy friends do, but I thought maybe it's just habits I picked up from hanging out with them, or, maybe I'm just weird. Lol.

I don't even care, really. I just never noticed. (I'm really good at not noticing things, I guess, lol.)

Does anyone mind that I'm posting at random-ass times when I schedule my posts ahead of time, does anyone mind that I schedule posts?

Who wants to try for a guest post?

"Do you like...umm...icecream" *blush*

Recently, I've been made aware that it's actually kind of a miracle that I end up in relationships, like...ever.

See, when I'm not in one, I'm kind of like this

Poop, couldn't find the pic I wanted.

Well, anyway, I don't pick up on hints

AT ALL.
Even really obvious ones. I don't know why, but I just don't get them, and then if someone who for some reason is interested in me but then I'm like "Nah, he's just a friend", 'cuz I pretty much see everyone as a non-romantic, non-interest until they magic me into a relationship. Normally, I think it's pretty steathlike.

k, that's an exaggeration. But  anyway, someone I think is all just a friend is suddenly dropping hints that I pick up on, and I'm like "Holy Chizz, dude the F are you doing? Can you Not see that I'm One of the Dudes?" (cuz I typically hang out with dudes and like videogames, etc). So then I'm all weirded out and confused like "why does he like me"

(at this point I have no idea where this post is going, by the way)

Except that maybe ...yeah. I can't think of a real point for this.

So, anyway, I don't get that someone likes me until they tell me. Otherwise, I just think they're a really friendly person. Unless they're being all gross, but that's not so much "liking me" as "being a big fat pervypants".

I am comfortably and happily with Aiden, in case anyone has a weird question about that, and no, no one is dropping me any hints (although, by default, I really will not get it if a woman is dropping them (I'm also not intersted, sorry to potentially dissapoint, lol). Seriously, though. I had a few friends who liked me. Two of whom I had NO idea. The other one, I only knew about it because she was...embarassingly (for me) obvious about it. That's another story for MUCH later...if ever...) Anyway, for the previous two, some of my friends told me that they noticed them "inspecting" my "rack" or "trunk" while I wasn't looking. They were pretty sneaky, 'cuz I NEVER would have caught on. EVERRR.

So, back to the post of pointless ramble. How do I show interest? Simple. I don't. How did I get into my current relationship? Simple answer "Magic", Walter's answer: "Magic is" nevermind, he'd start talking about the raspberry jelly or redvines, maybe even bacon, but something along the lines of magic being something most people don't understand easily explained by science, look at this ask walter thing! :http://askzy.com/walter-fringe/

wow, am I really that easily distracted don't I have like five million things to do?

I want a new layout, one with like skulls and stuff, and a cherry cursor, 'cuz that'd be bomb, but not the tiny three cherries, I want two nice sized cherries with the green stems and a leaf, you know, like the cute cherries on swimsuits and junk, btw, I need one of those swimsuits this summer, and by need  I mean want, but does anyone really care about that portion of my grammar on my blog right now? especialy considering this is a really random ass blog post that I just thought about while I was talking to a coworker this morning? I didn't even think I'd blog about it, it's just that someone brought it up, and I was like "damn, I never thought about tha, how would I notice this about myself, lol".

K, time for a new post, lol. excuse y poor spelling, I"m distracted by like a million things and ...my brain...there's really bad music on the thing right now, and it's definitely not what's coming from any of this bar's tv's. I also just realized that yes, I do look young enough to get carded, 'cuz it just happened tonight. I got spoiled going to one bar that I always go to, I wonder if my mom would get carded, like, we dont' look our age at all, I love these genes, it's great. anyway, new post.

spontaneous combustion

Well, no, but. Random adventures with friends are always nice. I had one recently, and I needed it pretty bad. I have 3 more assignments due, and since I haven't had much sleep, I've been in a blurry slumpfunk. As always, life is changing before we can blink, but it's always for the best.

Tafn, loves. Stay toasty!!!

re-building bridges

Building bridges, well, rebuilding, really.

Recently, I’ve been meaning to blog about how I’ve been way too good at severing tie, because it’s just something that comes easily to me.

I have a very low tolerance for bullchizz, so when there’s too much of that, or drama in my life, I cut the sources.
But I’ve realized that burning bridges isn’t the way to go.
I recently just re-friended a formerly good friend, she was one of my besties, at one time, but because of really dumb issues, we cut the ties we had (the issues were pretty dumb in retrospect), but I’m actually glad that we’re friends again – did I mention that we share the same birthday? Well, I’m a year older, but it was fun that one time we both went to the movies with a group of friends to celebrate our birthday, or the other time where our input bro well, my input bro) took us out for pho, I still remember that time like it was yesterday, and I hope he reads this (yup, shoutouts to you, Oppa!) I wish we could hang out together again sometime.
I must admit, one of the first things I did was look at her fb pics once we re-friended each other, her baby’s just too adorbz.

And who knows, maybe she can be one of my ld fit buddies (long distance for u lot who don’t know),

Which brings me to a new point, I want a fit buddy, especially for next semester, I’ve blogged about it before, so you can all tell how excited I am for next semester.

(I’m typing with my screen down right now ‘cuz, well, I’m trying to be discrete.)

I just did another presentation, and I have less than . 6 hrs of sleep, (you remember the set-up shift  I told you guys about in my last post? Well, it was a 4-midnight, we left a little early, but I missed my last bus by an hour still, so I go very little sleep last night, no complaints, though, ‘cuz it was really fun. ) I like work, and the more hours I get, the better, I’m a rent payer, after all, and I’m saving up for a car.
Trying to type quietly is very hard for me, my mom used to hate it, I’d wake up from sleeping with a great idea, in high school, hop back on my computer, and half an hour later, I’d hear “go back to sleep!”). My mum has supersonic hearing, I swear, she’d be on the second floor, and I lived in the basement room my stepdad made for me in that house. I miss it! That room was B.A, I swear!
But back to the re-building of bridges. I’m trying to be a bit less quick to cut ties off, because really, minor infractions, or even, sometimes, major ones, aren’t worth it in the end. I won’t say I miss everyone who I’ve cut out of my life completely, because there are those who I can’t see any reason to reacquaint myself with, but for those who I might have just had a misunderstanding or two with, sure.
Friendship is a two-way street, and I used to cut people off for giving too little when I feel like I’ve given more than my share, I’m gonna try not doing that (at least, not as often), and see if it helps in the long run. I hope it does.
